K&D Custom Coach, Inc. was founded and incorporated in 1999 by Raymond and Pamela Lichty. K&D was originally located in New Paris, Indiana and later moved to its current location in Goshen, Indiana. The owners of K&D started building ambulances in Puerto Rico then moved into specialty vehicles, and eventually moved into the United States. They have been designing, engineering, and manufacturing specialty vehicles for over 37 years. K&D specializes in custom built mobile medical clinics, mobile dental clinics, police command vehicles, custom handicapped accessible vehicles, mobile computer labs, and many other specialized units. K&D has built several mobile medical and dental clinics for the United States government, Puerto Rican government, non-profit agencies, various universities, and various international agencies. K&D has also built several police command vehicles for various United States cities.

K&D excels in creating a customized unit based on our customer’s needs. Over the last several years, K&D has created and maintained an extensive library of AutoCAD drawings of various different types of mobile units. This library and only using the best suppliers available has helped K&D excel beyond our competitors.
